just bought it for work (military) and this watch have everything I need for a really low price A++ -- great value

This watch tells time, is water resistant, and has a comfortable band. There is a count-down timer, a stop-watch, two timezone functions, and one or two alarm settings. Its cheap, it does what its supposed to do. I feel sort of dumb for assuming this, but the picture (with the digital dial on the middle left) suggests that there is a compass functionality (perhaps perpetuated by the giant "N" and "S" in suggestive location). Do not be deceived! There are no such functions! The left dial just points to the day of the week, and runs in circles when you're is stop-watch mode.

The dial you see on the middle top right, above the '7' on the time readout does nothing functional as far as I can tell. It shifts and blinks in time with the seconds. So, we've got quite a few wastes of watch face real-estate if you're a utilitarian; or the watch has some nice aesthetic touches that make it look 'high-tech', if you're into looks. Either way, the extraneous displays likely waste the watch's battery.

Also, the large central button on the side of the watch does nothing, I believe it is a piece that is in place for Armatron's ani-digi watches, so that you can adjust the minutes and seconds hand. In this model, its just a plug.

Warning: although the watch is water resistant to 300 meters, it is not water proof--you cannot press any buttons while the watch is wet, or submerged in water, as you will cause a leak. There are not online manuals for the watch, you have fish the paper one out of the plastic holder the watch comes shipped on.

Finally my biggest criticism: the watch has no silence-mode. Any time you touch a button, there's a loud beep, and there's nothing you can do to stop it from making the beeping noises. I think any digital watch should have the option of not making noise when you touch it. Not this one!

So, buy it if you want a cheap watch with basic functions that looks neat. -- Good Features, a little Gaudy, Pointless Displays, and No Silence Feature!
